Welcome to the official registration hub for the 2026 National High School Mock Trial Championship. This page brings together all required forms for teams and leadership roles, ensuring every participant, observer, and coordinator is properly registered and prepared for a successful championship experience.

Team Registration

This year, team registration will take place through Tabroom. You MUST register through Tabroom.com to participate as a mock trial team, courtroom artist, or courtroom journalist.

Team Registration includes 12 passes:
9 participant passes for competing students, 2 all-access passes intended for coaches, and 1 all-access pass for your state coordinator.
Any additional coaches or noncompeting students will need to purchase an All-Access Pass (sold out).
Arist and Journalist Registration includes 2 passes:
1 participant pass for the competing student, and 1 all-access pass intended for a coach.

Leadership Registration

These registration forms are required for Adult Observers, State Coordinators, and National High School Mock Trial Board Members attending the championship. Completing the appropriate form ensures accurate credentials, clear communication, and a smooth, organized experience for all participants throughout the event.

Volunteer Registration

In addition to judging, a wide range of general volunteer roles help keep the championship running smoothly. From welcoming participants to providing on-site support and coordination, these opportunities are ideal for those who want to contribute time, energy, and organization to this large-scale national event.

Credentials

All individuals attending the competition must be registered and visibly display their NHSMTC credentials at all times. Entry into any event requires wearing the official lanyard and the appropriate color-coded name badge, or a valid All-Access Pass. 

Credential Types:

Participant (Blue): Official team members, teachers/coaches, artists, journalists, and additional coaches. This badge functions as an all-access credential.

Observer (Gray): Observers are admitted to all mock trial rounds (no special events included).

Judge (Red): Official competition judges.

Volunteer (Black): Des Moines 2026 volunteers.

Staff (Green): ISBA staff and NHSMTC board members.

All-Access Pass (Yellow): Issued to individuals who have purchased the pass. Includes access to all mock trial rounds and special events.
